“Three Triangle” The gazebo of Sanur beach. As you can see the two gazebo are stand a bit far to the ocean, so only when the tide is low people can reach it.

Being a mother is mixture of laugh, cry, tears, sad, sweat, tired, alive, and joy at the same time.

After 16 hours fight to bring this little girl to the world this is the time for us to give a thanks to God and all who support us. 7 days old and finally baby Linda’s umbilical cord was unattached and we balinese believe that umbilical cord connects baby and their 4 spiritual sisters/brothers.

A “kepus puser” ceremony held for her.  The 4 spiritual sisters will joins the baby and continue to protect her spiritually. A black thread bracelet is give to Linda as a connection between them. Closed family came and be the witness of that day.

This is one of many ceremony to come that Linda will celebrate. As her mother it is my responsbility to held and share the happiness with relatives. Beyond all of that it’s a proud to be one of them.

Words by Linda’s mum, my wife… :)

coconut tree - this is why you can’t see high building in bali, it’s because there is a government regulation that say you can’t build a building higher than coconut tree. in my opinion, from the rapid hotels builder now at my home town kuta, where there are many high and huge crane, i doubt the regulation will stand any longer. i hope i’m wrong!
